What's your experience coaching teams toward being Agile?

I've spent the past 18 months trying to transition a large, geographically dispersed team in a big bureaucratic process-driven company to a more agile way of doing things. I've worked as a Scrum Master for one of the teams, on a corporate process working group to try to develop an internal agile community of practice, and assisted with delivering agile training to some of the teams in our corner of the company forest.

What do you plan to learn /explore at this conference?

Coaching skills in general (increased objectivity as opposed to being a working member of the team).
Coaching people to not fear failure.
I'm also very interested in how to best encourage people coming from a testing role to participate effectively in an agile team.

How do you plan to contribute?

As an active participant in discussions. Haven't thought of a discussion that I'd be ready to lead, but I might have a better idea by the time I get there.
