NikhilVallishayeePositionPaperIn2019

Namaste! I am Nikhil Vallishayee. I'm passionate about enabling and nurturing disproportionate value creation by channelling diverse skills sets within a collaborative context.

What's your experience coaching teams toward being Agile?
I discovered XP in 2009 when I joined as a fresher at ThoughtWorks. I have later worked in lean startup contexts in many roles spanning development, QA, business analysis and as a business owner. I have worked in larger , high skilled contexts as well as helped bootstrap green teams within cash strapped Indian contexts. I have learned to favour pragmatism & an outcome based approach towards aligning various skill sets towards common dynamic objectives.
I currently am working at MavenHive , a agile & lean engineering consultancy and helping drive innovation around practices.

What do you plan to learn /explore at this conference?
I am keen to hear various perspectives on helping build a safe context that empowers and incentives people to improvise and innovate; challenges faced in real life business contexts, and how can great products be built and the role of the quintessential program manager.

I look forward to meet industry leaders who are implementing lean and Agile practises @ scale and understand nuances around their leadership & coaching styles.

I am looking to meet entrenched product visionaries who are currently helping with coaching & product discovery and explore mutual collaborations.

How do you plan to contribute?

I can help facilitate, plan on building positive and enriching conversations with fellow attendees and can run workshops based on real life experience - around product bootstrapping & entrepreneurism and how Agile can be applied in super lean contexts. As well as how Agile practices can help knit a community together and accelerate holistic growth of a green team while ensuring delivery.
