What's your experience coaching teams toward being Agile?

I have been in agile space since 2005 starting my journey with Nokia as my client who were one of the early adopters of agile and scrum framework in particular. From here, I have had enriching experience of being scrum master, product owner, team coach, program coach and currently for the last 3 years I have been driving large scale agile transformation as enterprise coach and consultant. Some of the key clients with whom I have partnered for enterprise transformation include Target, Philips Healthcare, Honeywell Technology Solutions, Syniverse Technologies and Lowes Corporation. Along with coaching, I also train the teams including the senior management leadership teams that helps the transformation journey. I have designed a few trainings of my own in the space of agile for non IT teams like HR, Sales and Marketing and Finance and also a number of innovative games to bring out the concepts for the participants. I have also been speakers at many conferences including some of the international conferences like Agile Asia at Malaysia.

What do you plan to learn /explore at this conference?

To learn from my co-participant about their challenges and their approach to the challenges and problem statements that they have encountered in their agile journey. I am specifically keen on learning around agile mindset that sets the tone and rhythm for the transformation and how my co-participants have addressed the challenges around mindset.

How do you plan to contribute?

I plan to share my experience and my approaches that I have used successfully in my agile journey. I will be transparent enough to share some of my failures and my reflection on some of the strategies that haven’t worked and what could have been a better approach.
