What’s your experience coaching teams towards being Agile?

I have an overall experience of 15+ years in the industry and played various roles as a Change Agent. I gained knowledge in Agile during CSM certification with Pete Deemer in 2008 and was inclined to work in Scrum and other Agile Frameworks. I have worked as a Scrum Master and also conducted Agile trainings for different client organizations like E&Y, Intel, Infineon and Societe Generale before I joined Bank of America where I’m currently working as an Enterprise Agile Trainer & Coach. I’m responsible for coaching & training employees and vendors at Gurgaon and Mumbai locations. I have conducted Agile workshops for 1500+ people during my work at BOA. I work closely with Scrum Masters, teams and coach them to adopt and improve their processes on different Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban and SAFE. I also take Role based trainings & workshops for Scrum Masters, Product Owners and Leadership as part of the Enterprise Agile Transformation Journey.

What do I plan to learn/explore at this conference?

As part of my role I work with Scrum master and teams to coach them, understand their challenges and guide them in their agile adoption and maturity journey. I always have had curiosity to know if there could have been a better approach/ recommendation to drive the change. How would other organizations and their coaches approach the problem? This event could provide me a unique opportunity and platform whereby I can engage with the other coaches / Agile practitioners in the industry and learn the different challenges and improvements that were implemented by them.

How do you plan to contribute?

As I am part of a large captive organization doing Enterprise wide Agile transformation, I plan to contribute to this event by sharing the learnings as well as challenges of adopting and scaling Agile. I would share my experiences of working with agile teams, leadership and driving the organizational change.
