What's your experience coaching teams toward being Agile?
I have been practicing agile since last 9 years. We had delivered a product from concept to delivery using Agile FDD method way back in 2010-11. Since then, I have lead two 2 major Agile transitions – one to SAFe and other to SCRUM frameworks. We have implemented various agile practices like Pair programming, TDD, BDD , Agile testing during this transformation. I have also trained 300+ team members on SAFe, SCRUM, Agile Mindset, Agile 101 etc.,. In the last 2 years as an Agile coach, there has been lot of learning and improvement personally and professionally.
What do you plan to learn/explore at this conference?
I am interested in learning how to change the leadership behavior to successfully lead the agile teams. My definition of a leader includes manager, senior tech, directors etc. I want to know more about the practices and experiments coaches have done in their group to make this big shift in leaders mindset. We have been doing agile, I want to know how to move to being agile.
How do you plan to contribute?
I would share some of the challenges and experiments that we have tried, few succeeded and few were learnings. I want to initiate the conversation and learn from others.
