- What's your experience coaching teams toward being Agile?
Primarily in the roles of Change Agent, Project Manager, and Methodology Consultant, I have led small to global companies in their adoption of agile and lean development practices. My experience ranges across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. I study and put into practice many non-agile product and system development methodologies. This approach to technology and process improvement enhances my ability to blend agile and non-agile practices, which is often the case at Fortune 1000 companies.
- What do you plan to learn /explore at this conference?
I plan to interact with presenters and attendees. Knowledge sharing is essential to my five year goal of becoming a practitioner and methodology guru in all of the software development and management methodologies that are popular at global and regional companies, such as SCRUM, XP, MSF Agile, FITS, TDD, XRUP/RUP, CMMi, Six Sigma, ITIL, Cobit, PMI, Prince 2, etc.
- How do you plan to contribute?
I have a number of personal research projects that I am conducting in pursuit of my five year goal. As I partake in sessions, I will essentially be agile and adapt to each encounter by assuming the role of listener and/or adviser.
